About Responsiveness for Relief and Development

Responsiveness for Relief and Development (RRD) is a non-profit organization that aims to contribute effectively to reducing human suffering in Yemen.  RRD works with partners to mitigate the sufferings of Refugees  and people affected by conflict and disaster in Yemen by building and focusing on humanitarian programs as well as projects that promote social solidarity, contribute to the adoption of a culture of peace that rejects hatred and war. RRD implements its programs based on innovative ideas and approaches focusing on short-term impacts, sustainability as well as building on successful practices and lessons-learned to meet the humanitarian aid standards and requirements. RRD’s formula for success is that it was founded by a group of  Yemeni experts who are passionate, motivated and have the initiative to implement programs effectively and efficiently. Additionally, two volunteer bodies were created in its organizational structure, international and national advisory boards, to ensure the organization’s performance and progress are going to reach its mission.

3 - Enhance Government response to the marginalized groups’ and community needs.
4 - Raise awareness of civil society to participate effectively and positively in the democratic and development processes.
