MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Supervise regular and timely submission of data collection.
  • Ensure quality of data collected – conduct data quality assessments (DQA);
  • Develop narrative reports based on analysis of data collected
  • Develop and share field visit reports.
  • Participate/ Develop periodic reports as per donors and RRD requirements.
  • Assist the Programs Manager build capacity of staff and partners on planning, monitoring and reporting mechanisms.
  • Support in future research studies.
  • Participate proactively in programme review and planning
  • Represent RRD at inter agency coordination forums.

SPECIFIC Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree in social sciences, development or other related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in project monitoring and evaluation, field data collection management, and data quality assessment (DQA);
  • High quality report-writing experience; excellent verbal and written command of the English language;
  • Communication skills for presenting monitoring findings
  • Analytical and research skills;
  • Excellent command of Excel among other packages of MS Office;

Desirable:
  • Handling data through SPSS/EPS
  • Experience of conducting research
  • Experience of organizing lesson-learning sessions

Other:
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks;
  • Self-motivated person able to work without close supervision;
  • Willingness to work beyond normal work hours at crucial times.

Project Coordinator

Job Summary:
RRD is implementing a nutrition related project in partnership with Relief International targeting 3 districts in Hajjah Governorate.
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for the implementation of the Project's activities in his/her assigned area of operation. He/she will be responsible for coordination with the relevant departments and supervisors to ensure effective and efficient implementation and serve as the focal point for the Governorate and Districts Health Offices. The Project Coordinator will report to the Programs Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Actively coordinate with Donor, Governorate Health Office and District Health Office.
  • Ensure the implementation of agreed plans to achieve on time and high quality results.
  • Oversee/conduct assessments as needed in communities in coordination with the MOPHP/ GHO.
  • Oversee comprehensive training programs for Community Health Volunteers as well as health staff in IYFC.
  • Develop weekly and monthly work plans to achieve the program’s expected results.
  • Supervise data collection and records of beneficiaries to ensure targets are reached.
  • Oversee, support and build the capacity of Community Health Workers - CHWs.
  • Monitor Community Awareness Sessions conducted by the CHWs. 
  • Provide regular updates and bi-weekly/monthly reports to Program Manager/Technical specialist as required.
  • Provide data, case studies and success stories.
  • Monitor program implementation and ensure accurate, timely data collection and submission of relevant reports;
  • Develop and maintain programmatic records and documentation
  • Any additional duties as requested by the supervisor.

Requirements:
  • A university degree in relevant field is required with minimum of 2 years’ experience.
  • Work experience in IYCF, CMAM and health programs.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information and respond appropriately to questions from senior managers in the field.
  • Strong English and Arabic skills, written and spoken. Ability to write reports in English is required.

Finance & Operations Assistant

Job Summary:

The Finance and Operations Assistant will be responsible for assistance in the Operational, Financial and Business Management aspects of the project. He/She will be responsible for all the Management/Book keeping/Filing System Management of the field office. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the implementation of Financial and Administrative internal control system at the field office.
  • Ensure all Project expenditures are in the line of approved budget.
  • Manage the Project Cash Advance and Clearance in efficient and effective manner.
  • Post accounting records in books and accounting software for reporting of transactions and expenditures.
  • Prepare/update Cash and Bank books on daily basis and maintain proper account balances available at all times.
  • Monitor and Support field office in performing finance and accounts related tasks.
  • Reconciliation of field office advance and clearances.
  • Act as focal person from finance when required.
  • Deal and coordinate with external auditors as and when required.
  • Any other duties assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:
  • University degree in Business Administration;
  • At least three years of professional experience in a similar position;
  • Good command of English (written, read, and spoken);
  • Good computer skills (MS Word and MS Excel);
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills;

Job Summary
The Health and Nutrition Field Officer will be responsible for the implementation of health and nutrition activities in his/her assigned area of operation.   • Supervise data collection and records of beneficiaries to ensure targets are reached.
  • Oversee, support and build the capacity of community health volunteers - CHVs.
  • Organize public health education campaigns to inform the target populations of key messages surrounding nutrition and maternal and child health.
  • Ensure reports are being completed and filed on a timely manner from the field.
  • Prepare and submits regular reports and other relevant reports to management.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor.

Requirements:
  • Medical Degree and experience in public and community health highly desirable.
  • Work experience in CMAM and Health programs.
  • Strong leadership, organizational and problem solving skills.
  • Proficient in English and Arabic
  • Background in training or facilitation
